Eight wonderful Upper Palatinate tales from earlier days are illuminated in the Schönwerth fairytale path. They all took place in the wood and come from the collection of the great folklorist Franz Xaver von Schönwerth (1810-1886). Immerse yourself in a world of dwarves and wooden Miss, the talking Beetle and singing trees.
Information boards and modern works by regional artists transform the about 400 meter long trail into a magical place where nature, culture and art come together in a very special way.
The fairy tales of the woods are presented together with art figures, exciting game options and comprehensive information. The fairytale trail invites young and adult visitors to come to rest and become aware the own creativity and imagination.
The myth "Upper Palitinate tales and legends" will surprise and inspire you. The tales are hidden along the way. Per app that recognizes QR codes, you can read the complete fairy tales with your smartphone at the individual stations or have them read in an audio version.
