Semester-Ticket

The semester ticket allows students of the University and the OTH Regensburg to make as many journeys as they like in the entire network area for a mandatory contribution of 109 EUR per semester. 

A valid student ID in combination with a valid identity card or passport serves as a ticket. The travel authorization is not transferable and is not valid for visiting students.

Validity

For students of the OTH Regensburg

• in the summer semester from March 15th to September 30th 
• during the winter semester from October 1st to March 14th

For students of the University of Regensburg

• in the summer semester from April 1st to September 30th
• during the winter semester from the October 1st to March 31st

Upgrade your RVV semester ticket to the Deutschlandticket

Students of the University of Passau can order their surcharge ticket in a special online store. Further information: Studentenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz

Students of the University and OTH Regensburg can purchase the Deutschlandticket as an upgrade ticket to their existing semester ticket.

Details of the surcharge ticket for students:

• The upgrade to the Deutschlandticket is available as a monthly cancellable subscription in the RVV webshop.
• The monthly surcharge is 10.83 EUR.
• The Deutschlandticket is not transferable and is only valid for one person at a time. It is not possible to take other people with you.
• The ticket is valid throughout Germany for the whole day on local public transport and local rail transport > FAQ about the Deutschlandticket 

How to get your surcharge ticket:

• go to the online ordering platform: https://dticket-fuer-studenten.rvv.de
• when ordering online, enter your student e-mail address and IBAN (for direct debit).
• open your student e-mail box and click on the confirmation link in the e-mail from the RVV.
• the tickets ordered online will be sent by e-mail directly to your university mailbox - as a wallet link that you can use to save the ticket directly on your smartphone.
• The amount due is debited monthly.

How to cancel your upgrade:

• go to the online ordering platform:  https://dticket-fuer-studenten.rvv.de
• log in with your email address and password.
• you can cancel your upgrade under "My subscription". The cancellation must be made by the 10th of the month.

Bus connection of the university campus

• All year round: lines 2, 4, 6 and 11
• In addition: line 19 from the Bad Abbach area, line 21 from the southern district of Regenburg and line 38 from Neutraubling
• During the lecture period at the university of Regensburg: extended service by campus-lines C1, C2, C4 and C6 as well as line X6

• From the university campus: line 11 in the direction of Burgweinting

• Bus line: 1, among others
• Bus stop: Weißenburgstrasse
• From the university campus: lines C1, C6, 6 or 11 to the central station, changing to line 1 in the direction of Pommernstraße
